Committee Meeting
Meetings by bodies of elected members delegated by the House or Senate to consider and make recommendations concerning disposition of bills, resolutions, and other related matters referred to them. Committees are appointed by the Speaker of the House or the Senate Majority Leader and are organized according to subject matter.
SB 352 (Victory) Civil procedure: costs and fees; filing fees for attorney general in enforcing the telephone solicitation act; prohibit.
SB 353 (Moss) Consumer protection: solicitations; unfair trade practices; revise practices relating to deceptive telephone solicitations.
SB 354 (Anthony) Consumer protection: solicitations; provisions relating to the regulation of home solicitations and telephone solicitations; remove telephone solicitations.
SB 355 (McBroom) Communications: telecommunications; provisions relating to telephone solicitations: repeal.
SB 124 (Damoose) Individual income tax: returns; extension of filing deadline for income taxes under certain circumstances; authorize.
SB 583 (Cavanagh) Taxation: administration; electronic notice; allow.
SB 584 (Irwin) Individual income tax: withholding requirements; mandatory withholding requirement by pension administrators; make optional.
And any other business properly before the committee.
