CONTENT

 

The bill would repeal the Uniform Aircraft Financial Responsibility Act, which requires owners and operators of aircraft involved in an accident to report to the Bureau of Aeronautics and to deposit the amount of security the Bureau considers sufficient to satisfy any judgment for damages resulting from the accident, depending on the degree of property damage and the number of persons injured or killed.
