SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4725 (Substitute H-1) as passed by the House:

The bill would create a new act to require that the portion of Interstate Highway 275, located in the City of Livonia, be known as the “Disabled American Veterans of Livonia Memorial Highway”.

The Department of Transportation would have to erect suitable markers on the highway indicating the name of the highway.

FISCAL IMPACT

The fabrication cost of each highway marker would be approximately $300 funded from State trunk line revenue.
