CONTENT
The bill would amend the Michigan Penal Code to give the district court concurrent jurisdiction over a case in which a minor used a tobacco product on school property. (Under current law, the family division of circuit court has exclusive jurisdiction over cases involving juveniles.)
The bill is tie-barred to Senate Bills 538 and 539.
