      A bill to make appropriations for the department of transportation

and certain transportation purposes for the fiscal year ending

September 30, 1998; to provide for the imposition of fees; to provide 

for reports; to create certain funds; to prescribe certain powers and 

duties of certain state departments and officials; and to provide for 

the expenditure of the appropriations.
