A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4686 AS INTRODUCED 5-18-99


The bill would amend the Michigan Vehicle Code to increase the penalty for illegally parking in a parking space that is clearly identified as reserved for the use of disabled persons. The current penalty is a fine of no less than $50 and no more than $100. The bill would increase the amount of the fine to $150.
