A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4688 AS INTRODUCED 5-18-99

The bill would amend the State Housing Development Authority Act of 1966 to require that, subject to federal law, wages and fringe benefits paid on a housing project that received loans under the act meet or exceed wages and fringe benefits required to be paid on state projects under Public Act 166 of 1965, which requires prevailing wages and fringe benefits on state projects.
