A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 5162 AS INTRODUCED 12-7-12


The bill would create a new act to designate the part of highway Interstate 69 between exits 94 and 105 (in Clinton and Shiawassee Counties) as the "Purple Heart highway," and would allow the state Department of Transportation to erect signs identifying that name when enough private contributions had been received to pay the cost of erecting the signs.
