A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 6092 AS INTRODUCED 11-9-00


The bill would add a new section to the Food Law of 2000 to require owners or operators of retail groceries that used plastic shopping bags to provide, on the premises, a recycling receptacle for used and discarded plastic bags. The requirement would take effect 60 days after the effective date of the bill.
