CONTENT
The bill would amend the Fire Prevention Code to delete provisions under which a witness may not be prosecuted for crimes about which he or she is ordered to testify or produce evidence in a Fire Marshal investigation. Instead, truthful testimony, evidence, or other truthful information that the witness was compelled to provide, and information derived directly or indirectly from that truthful information, evidence, or other truthful information, could not be used against the witness in a criminal case.
