        A bill to make appropriations for the department of consumer
and

   industry services for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1999; to
pro-

   vide for the expenditure of the appropriation; and to prescribe
certain

   conditions for the appropriation.

                   THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 1          Sec. 1.  There is appropriated for the department
              of consumer and

 2     industry services to supplement former appropriations
              for the fiscal year

 3     ending September 30, 1999, from the following funds:

 4       GROSS APPROPRIATION..................................
              $         500,000

 5           Appropriated from:

 6       State general fund/general purpose................... $ 
                     500,000

 7          Sec. 2.  The appropriation made and the expenditure
              authorized under

 8     this act and the departments, agencies, commissions,
              boards, offices, and

 9     programs for which an appropriation is made under this
              act are subject to

10     the management and budget act, 1984 PA 431, MCL 18.1101
              to 18.1594.
