SENATE BILL No. 1078

A bill to amend 1917 PA 74, entitled

"An act to fix standards for climax baskets for grapes and other

fruits and vegetables, and to fix standards for baskets and other

containers for small fruits, berries, and vegetables, and to

punish violations of the same,"

by amending section 4 (MCL 290.134).

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

1 Sec. 4. That the THE examination and test of climax bas-

2 kets, baskets, or other containers for small fruits, berries, and

3 vegetables, for the purpose of determining whether such THOSE

4 baskets or other containers comply with the provisions of this

5 act , shall be made by the dairy and food department , and

6 the dairy and food commissioner shall establish and promulgate

7 rules and regulations allowing such reasonable tolerances and

8 variations as may be found necessary OF AGRICULTURE.
