ENROLLED HOUSE BILL No. 4247

AN ACT to designate the part of highway M-5 located in the area lying between the interchange of highways I-96, I-696, and I-275 and 8 Mile road in the city of Farmington Hills and the city of Farmington as the "Keith Deacon Memorial Highway"; and to prescribe the duties of the state transportation department.

The People of the State of Michigan enact:

Sec. 1. The part of highway M-5 located in the area lying between the interchange of highways I-96, I-696, and I-275 and 8 Mile road in the city of Farmington Hills and the city of Farmington shall be known as the "Keith Deacon Memorial Highway".

Sec. 2. The state transportation department shall only provide for the erection of suitable markers at the approach to the part of the highway described in section 1 when sufficient private contributions are received to pay the cost of erecting those markers.

This act is ordered to take immediate effect.
