A bill to provide for a capital outlay program; to set forth the provisions for its implementation within the budgetary process; to make appropriations for planning and construction at state institutions and the acquisition of land; to provide for the elimination of fire hazards at the institutions; to provide for certain special maintenance, remodel- ing, alteration, renovation, or demolition of and additions to projects at state institutions; to provide for elimination of occupational safety and health hazards at state agencies and institutions; to provide for the award of contracts; and to provide for the expenditure thereof under the supervision of the director of the department of management and budget and the state administrative board. THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT: 02118'01 FDD For Fiscal Year Ending 2 September 30, 2002 1 PART 1 2 LINE-ITEM APPROPRIATIONS 3 Sec. 101. Subject to the provisions of this act, there is appropri- 4 ated from the general fund of the state for special maintenance projects 5 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2002, the sum of 6 $_______________ or as much thereof as may be necessary. 7 DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET 8 Special maintenance projects as described and recom- 9 mended in the capital outlay budget for the fiscal 10 year ending September 30, 2002. The allocations to 11 be made by the director of the department of man- 12 agement and budget in order of program priority and 13 need of the various institutions................... $ 14 TOTAL SPECIAL MAINTENANCE............................ $ 15 16 17 PART 2 18 PROVISIONS CONCERNING APPROPRIATIONS 19 GENERAL SECTIONS 20 Sec. 201. Subject to the provisions of this act, there is appropri- 21 ated from the general fund of the state for remodeling, alteration, reno- 22 vation, moving, or demolition of and additions to structures and other 23 physical properties, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2002, the 24 sum of $_______________ or as much thereof as may be necessary. 25 DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET 26 Remodeling of and additions to structures and other 27 physical properties as described and recommended in 02118'01 3 1 the capital outlay budget for the fiscal year 2 ending September 30, 2002. Subject to the provisions of this act, there is appropri- 15 ated from the general fund of the state for occupational safety and 16 health projects at state agencies and institutions for the fiscal year 17 ending September 30, 2002, the sum of $_______________ or as much thereof 18 as may be necessary. 19 DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET 20 Occupational safety and health projects. Allocation 21 to be made by the director of the department of 22 management and budget based on actual OSHA inspec- 23 tions, in order of program priority and need of the 24 various institutions and agencies.................. $ 25 TOTAL OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH PROJECTS........ $ 26 Sec. 501. Subject to the provisions of the studies and preliminary 27 planning process established by 1965 PA 124, there is appropriated from 02118'01 4 1 the general fund of the state for preliminary studies and planning of 2 proposed building projects at certain state institutions for the fiscal 3 year ending September 30, 2002, the sum of $_______________ or as much 4 thereof as may be necessary. 5 DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET.................. $ 6 TOTAL PRELIMINARY PLANNING PROJECTS.................. $ 7 Sec. 601.
