Lord, as the Senate meets again to consider legislation critical to the progress of our state, we ask that You grant us the patience to hear out the opinions of all sides, the wisdom to choose the pathway that is best individually for each of us, and the equanimity to accept with grace and poise the decision of the full Senate on each and every matter we must decide. We ask this in Your name. Amen.
