A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 6202 AS INTRODUCED 9-9-04

The bill would amend Parts 401 (Wildlife Conservation) and 435 (Hunting and Fishing Licensing) of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act to define "muzzle loading" as it relates to firearms to mean a firearm that is designed to use black powder (or a substitute) and cannot use fixed ammunition, whether or not the firearm is loaded at the muzzle.
