allocating these funds and increased the minimum wage requirements for placement of clients from $6.00
to $8.00 per hour. (Sec. 305)</p>

The Senate recommends maintaining it with
the allocation of funding being $250,000 to Detroit and $250,000 to Grand Rapids. The House changed the
amount for Detroit to $249,900. (Sec. 309)</p>

year Federal funds will be awarded to this organization and requiring the Department to allow them to
compete for the Statewide Federal Workforce Investment Act funding. The House did not include these
sections. (Sec. 330 and 331)</p>
