A bill to amend 1931 PA 328, entitled
"The Michigan penal code,"
(MCL 750.1 to 750.568) by adding section 227h.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 227h. (1) This chapter does not require a person to
2 have a permit issued by this state to lawfully sell or lawfully
3 offer to sell any of the following in this state through the
4 internet or other electronic media or through a newspaper,
5 magazine, or other print media:
6 (a) An antique firearm.
7 (b) Ammunition for an antique firearm.
8 (c) Percussion caps for use on antique firearms.
9 (d) Black gunpowder or a product substantially equivalent to
10 black gunpowder.
11 (2) As used in this section, "antique firearm" means that
1 term as defined in section 231a.
