A bill to amend 1953 PA 66, entitled
"An act to prohibit the opening of any retail or wholesale new
and used car business on the first day of the week, commonly
called Sunday, for the purpose of carrying on or engaging in the
business of offering to buy, sell, exchange, trade or participate
in the negotiation thereof of any type or kind of automobile, on
the first day of the week, commonly called Sunday,"
by amending section 4 (MCL 435.254).
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
1 Sec. 4. This act shall not apply to counties having a
2 population under 130,000
160,000 inhabitants according to the
3 latest or each succeeding federal decennial census.
