SUBSTITUTE FOR

HOUSE BILL NO. 4080

     A bill to amend 1979 PA 94, entitled

"The state school aid act of 1979,"

(MCL 388.1601 to 388.1772) by adding section 9.

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

Sec. 9. The requirements of this act and of rules promulgated

under this act are subject to waiver under an education mandate

rollback contract issued under section 1290 of the revised school

code, MCL 380.1290.

     Enacting section 1.  This amendatory act does not take effect

unless House Bill No. 4079 of the 93rd Legislature is enacted into

law.
