A bill to amend 1976 PA 451, entitled
"The revised school code,"
(MCL 380.1 to 380.1852) by adding section 1292.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 1292. The board of a school district or intermediate
school district or board of directors of a public school academy
shall adopt a pupil privacy policy. The policy shall at least
prohibit any of the following practices:
(a) Distributing a graded examination, report, or other graded
paper in a way that allows the paper to be handled by a pupil other
than the pupil who completed the paper.
(b) Having a pupil grade another pupil's examination, report,
or other graded paper.
(c) Posting a behavior chart in a manner that allows it to be
seen by an entire classroom of pupils.
