A bill to amend 1956 PA 218, entitled
"The insurance code of 1956,"
(MCL 500.100 to 500.8302) by adding section 2128.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
Sec. 2128. The commissioner shall develop by July 1, 2006 a
comprehensive consumer awareness program. The consumer awareness
program shall be designed to educate residents of this state on
specific actions that state residents can take to reduce home and
automobile insurance premiums. The commissioner shall promote the
consumer awareness program by October 1, 2006.
