SENATE BILL No. 1323

     A bill to amend 1961 PA 236, entitled

 

"Revised judicature act of 1961,"

 

(MCL 600.101 to 600.9947) by adding section 1350b; and to repeal

 

acts and parts of acts.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1350b. The right to peremptorily challenge jurors in a

 

civil or criminal case is abolished.

 

     Enacting section 1. Sections 12 and 13 of chapter VIII and

 

section 17 of chapter XIV of the code of criminal procedure, 1927

 

PA 175, MCL 768.12, 768.13, and 774.17, are repealed.
