A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4304 AS INTRODUCED 2-20-07

The bill would amend Section 636 of the Michigan Vehicle Code to prohibit the operator of a vehicle from overtaking and passing another vehicle operating in the same lane of traffic while within an intersection regulated by a traffic control device.

The bill is an amendment to the section that governs the overtaking and passing of vehicles proceeding in the same direction.  A violation of the section is a civil infraction.
