CONTENT
The bill would amend the Renewable Fuels Commission Act to require the Commission to report on the supply and production of alternative fuels to establish the condition of the industry in the State.


The Act establishes the Renewable Fuels Commission within the Michigan Department of Agriculture, and requires the Commission to investigate and make recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature regarding alternative fuels.


The Act is scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2010. The bill would delay the repeal to January 1, 2012.
