A SUMMARY OF HOUSE BILL 4477 AS INTRODUCED 3-19-13

House Bill 4477 would amend the Michigan Election Law to allow a voter to use a camera (including, but not limited to, a cellular telephone camera) in a polling place to take his or her own photograph.  However, the bill would not authorize a voter to take a photograph of his or her election ballot.
